The Orange Octopus

Ice is really good, but as deals promote person and a regular local customer I am very disappointed about how to be Orange Octopus. Used to be the best ice cream in town for an affordable price for many locals. Later they increased prices and reduced the sizes. Before being sold as a shovel and depending on the type of cone, maybe a $1 would increase that was considered fair. And it was $3.95. Now you pay for a small, medium and large size. And a kid isn't even a ****! I have speechless and sad cause that we loved the place, and now we go somewhere else. Image is the actual size of the small ice for $5.30 . I felt like I got a puppy for my dog at a high price!! LOL. It's a NONO!!

This place is truly special. I stood outside for about five minutes, just admiring it and thinking to myself, "Look at this!" When I finally walked in, I was warmly welcomed by the friendly staff. I tried nearly all of the flavors before settling on the butter pecan, and let me tell you, it blew me away. It was absolutely delicious and brought back some of my fondest memories of my time with friends during the Vietnam War. If you're considering treating yourself to a scoop of this creamy goodness, you won’t regret it! Thank you all, and have a wonderful day!

I had a non-local who regularly visits that suggested I try the Orange Octopus, and my family was extremely pleased with the ice cream. It's a drive for us to get to Siesta, but OO has now made us reconsider making more trips out that way! We got chocolateand coffee ice cream. Both were excellent.

I might be younger than most people writing reviews but I think this place needs to be recognized. They were so nice and welcoming. It isn’t expensive and they didn’t act mean to kids!!! I love it so much!!!!!!!! Also go to the beach at sun set. Réservez une table maintenant

We come back each year when visiting from out of state. This is the BEST ice cream! Super creamy and flavorful and be ready for the big portions. Perfect treat after a day at the beach. Highly highly recommend.

Gator Tracks is a delicious treat featuring vanilla ice cream swirled with chocolate and topped with crushed peanut butter cups. It's a great value for a resort town and a popular spot among visitors!

It used to be great, but not anymore. The "small" size is barely even one scoop, and it costs over $5. The small portion is about the same size as a free Starbucks puppuccino.

One of the best spots for ice cream on Siesta Key! They always have a wide variety of flavors and the staff is fantastic! We absolutely love the orange octopus flavor! Réservez une table maintenant

The ice cream here is of outstanding quality, even better than what you'll find at Big Olaf downtown. Plus, the staff member was incredibly friendly and helpful!

The Salted Caramel ice cream is the best my husband and I have ever tasted! Adding extra pecans makes it a perfect combination for ice cream lovers!
