"Extremely rude waiter! Got our order completely wrong then tried to argue with me insisting that I had ordered 6 meals for 2 adults and 2 small children! Food eventually arrived on dirty plates. Will not be going back."

Popped in for a spontaneous bit of lunch. Scenery is beautiful and the staff were friendly and welcoming so was off to a good start. The indoor seating was busy but we wasn’t in a rush and a table soon became available we took a seat and then had a look at the menu. Thats when it went downhill. We decided on sandwiches and a hot drink each it took 20 mins to take our order (ok it was lunchtime and it was fairly busy however by this time a lot of the tables were empty as people had left. the lady whom was polite and friendly took our order and shortly after our hot drinks arrived. Nearly 40 minutes later the sandwiches arrived… advertised as served with salad garnish and crisps…well…the garnish was tiny (ok it was a garnish and the crisps were cheap value tortilla chips I was asked at the time of order white or brown bread I wasn’t expecting to get 50/50 Kingsmill! The filling in one was ok but not worth £8.50 each! It was very disappointing and not good value at all. Such a shame. I’d go back for drinks but I won’t be eating there again.

Very disappointed as previous visit earlier in the year was wonderful. This was a birthday treat and we both selected Prawn Marie-Rose sandwiches, as the coronation chicken was off menu, although it was only 1pm. Sandwiches arrived on pappy brown bread (ugh! , too much sauce and too few, tiny, prawns (6! . The tortilla crisps accompanying these were obviously the bits from the bottom of the bag. Thank goodness the coffee and walnut cake compensated somewhat. It was obviously brought in was wonderful! All a bit embarrassing as trying to celebrate a birthday! The staff were lovely.

If I could give 0 I would. Ordered the panini and 45 minutes later finally got the food which was wrong so had to wait longer for the correct food (which could have taken 5 minutes to make). The staff were rude from the moment we arrived and when asked for the bill they said they had a lot of bills to do with a very grumpy face. So neither the staff or the food was worth the experience, Tesco meal deal is more worthwhile. Don’t visit if you want a nice day.

Dont go here! Staff sullen and not interested. Waited a long time for simple food which was thrown together and lukewarm. Jackets were swimming in prawn or tuna toppings, salad cheap with excessive mayo.Chips old and bearly warm. Not a pleasant experience
