The Original Venice Rest

I typically do not write negative reviews and prefer to forgive and forget, but this experience was unacceptable. I paid almost $30 for a pepperoni pizza, the same price I would pay for a good, authentic pizza in Morris or even Little Italy. There was no excuse for being served a reheated pie. I ordered delivery, expecting a freshly baked pie, not one that had been sitting out as a display slice. The pie was dry and the sauce had dried out, likely from multiple reheats. The cheese was not even melted properly, it was just one big crisp. Despite this, I still ate three slices, only to wake up at 4 am drenched in sweat and vomiting. I usually speak well of this resturant I came here as a kid back like 25 years ago. But I ordered the chicken Parm sandwich it didnt taste like before and the sandwhich was very dry and barely any sauce it seem like it wasnt made with love or care in the world I was very surprised as this sandwhich is one of there best on the menu. I was not impressed at all and it was also bland not worth the $20.00 with delivery fee's and tip went down the drain. Get better guys or get a better chef seriously. This was my favorite place before but after today idno.

I have been ordering from and dining at The Original Venice Restaurant for the last 20 years. Their food is outstanding, and their customer service is always courteous and respectful. It is my top choice for Italian cuisine in the Bronx. One of my favorite dishes is the chicken parmigiana with baked ziti. If you haven't tried it yet, you definitely should.

I love coming to this restaurant for their delicious baked clams! I ordered a dozen and thoroughly enjoyed them every time. They are always made perfectly! I also love their bread and the chicken cutlet parm hero is amazing. The food here gets a perfect 5 out of 5 rating from me! Réservez une table maintenant

Barely any sauce or cheese on this “chicken Parm sandwich.” Def not worth the price. Hope the owners revamp the cooking bc this restaurant keeps missing which is a shame bc many many years ago it was a phenomenal place to eat at.

On my first visit to this restaurant, I ordered the hot hero. The meatballs were a nice size with a good amount of tomato sauce and cheese. There was no MSG smell either. I will definitely be ordering from here again.

The best Italian food in the South Bronx! This restaurant is authentic and very family-friendly. I highly recommend the chicken Parmigiana - it's the best I've ever had. I would give the food a 5 out of 5 rating.

Very old Bronx Borough Italian Restaurant. It was recommended to me 20 years ago when I moved to this neighborhood. We love the baked ziti with meatballs, and ricotta cheese. Pizza is great also. Réservez une table maintenant
