Lunch in “The Vista” was a great pleasure after enjoying the “Soda City Market” yesterday. We decided to beat Pearlz, as it only opened on Saturday for lunch. We had a dozen muted oysters first, but no picture, because my camera wasn't fast enough. They were excellent. We then ordered a small basket of Triggerfish bites and seafood gumbo, which were also great. My love for oysters was the next when we ordered a 1/2 dozen grilled oysters, New Orleans style. I came to this when my soup was full of oysters and I still believed them. Bam Bam was good. We have all finished with their famous stacked salad from shrimps, crabs and vegetables. Bam bam again. I had to get a box because we had our food limit. In addition, I have 2 pictures of Kevin, not our waiter, but the person who broke out our food. He was so pleasant and extremely courteous for an eccentric guy like me! 3 stars, Kevin and a rare double image!
Came for dinner a couple weeks ago and we had a great experience. The ambiance in the restaurant is very modern with a decent amount of bar seating. The service was exceptional and our waitress was very knowledgeable of the menu. Upon her recommendation we both got the flounder special and raw oysters. The oysters were fresh and the flounder was perfectly seared and moist. The accompanying gnocchi and cream sauce seemed house made and complimented the flounder very well. The only criticism I'd have was that the filet was a bit too salty. We also got a few specialty cocktails with dinner. They were relatively reasonably priced and strong but tasted good. We would definitely come back again.
Excellent service and the staff was super friendly. It took a little longer to get our food and drinks being as it was busy, but it was definitely worth the wait. The chef definitely knows what they're doing and the atmosphere and music are even more reasons to stop in for a meal and some drinks! Highly recommend
Very cool atmosphere, our bartender gave us such a nice service and prepared our wishes with such ease, even if we changed our thoughts a few times! On Sunday they have half selected bottles of wine! We enjoyed a bottle of Prosecco and she even got the rest for us!
