Very busy and noisy pub. Just what the landlord needs. We opted to eat in the conservatory, pie and chips and mushy peas. Really nice. Normally have salt and vinegar on me chips, but not this time, really nice tasting chips. And the mushy peas had an extra something, really nice. Found out afterwards, it was a bit of mint mixed in. Its a bit far to go back, just under 400 miles, but worth a visit if your on holiday like we were. Service: Dine in
Stop off and have some food and a jar. You won’t do better locally great food and menu, friendly staff and deserve a shout out. Top marks Kid friendliness: Very much so. What an amazing place!!!, the food is totally amazing, I can highly recommend the steak and Stilton pie, the people are lovely and extremely welcoming, we enjoyed it that much that we have booked again before we go home. A very big thank you, Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner
