The FOOD here is DELISH and you must try their SANGRIA, at least once. There are two reasons we can not rate this establishment 5-stars. Firstly, the menu is over priced, in our opinion. Secondly, the service most definitely isn’t what one would expect with the price of the menu. Finally, note that there are a few tables positioned beside a very drafting window. I’ve seen on several occasions, including myself, people complain about it. In one instance, I asked to be moved and the waitress insisted that the other available table I would experience the same thing. I then asked to please sit me at the table sitting against the wall. She said she couldn’t because it was reserved. I was puzzled...
We also tried the Alfredo dish and a seafood combo with scallops, shrimp, and crab cake. The crab cake was fantastic, the scallops were good, and the shrimp were just average. We had to ask for the side salad that was supposed to come with the Alfredo and cream of crab. Both the Alfredo and the cream of crab arrived barely warm. We also had to request drink refills. While we didn’t complain during our visit, as there was a large party nearby and the waitress seemed new and the restaurant understaffed, it’s worth noting that this affected our experience. What was supposed to be a nice night out with my partner turned into one of the worst eating experiences that I've ever had. Our food was lousy, our server was unattatative and forgetful, and the dining room was loud. We got recommendations to come to this place but I'm going to recommend everyone not come to this place. For $120 I usually get better food out of places that would charge $18. In the end we had more fun making fun of the paddock than eating there. Avoid if possible! My first cup of cream of crab was cold. The vegetable of the day was overspiced. I couldn't even eat it. When two elderly women came into the restaurant and clearly did not have enough energy to walk to the back, the waitress told them they could not sit at a front table becausethat sectionwas closed. These poor elderly women had to crawl up on bar stools to avoid walking to the back dining room. I feel that the waitress could have made an exception, but obviously, she was too lazy.
