The service at the restaurant was friendly and helpful, but the lack of vegan options and the poor quality of the food presentation made for a disappointing experience. I found that the vegan appetizers were limited to just chips and salsa. The menu did not clearly indicate which items were vegan-friendly, and despite the option for a black bean patty, none of the dishes that appealed to me were actually vegan. Additionally, the only vegan burger available was gluten-free and came at an extra cost, despite being inferior in taste and appearance.
Went here for my birthday with my family and we were shocked when they only had a black bean burger on the menu. They used to have tons of options for vegans, 3 or 4 different burgers/sandwiches and a few interesting vegan appetizers and dessert options. Now there's almost no options. Not even sure if the black bean burger is even vegan, probably contains eggs. Should probably just pull it from HappyCow honestly. If you're downtown go next door to Olive Cafe they have many options for vegans
I had a great meal at this restaurant with a delicious black bean dish topped with a generous portion of sweet potato fries. I opted for rye bread instead of a brioche bun and had no cheese to make it vegan. This place also offers a variety of arcade games, local beers, and even a bowling alley. I recently tried the Thai Cauliflower and enjoyed its decent spiciness. This update is from my review on December 12, 2021.
The staff at this restaurant are extremely friendly and attentive. Even though they were busy, our food arrived promptly and was delicious. I dined with my vegetarian friend, who thoroughly enjoyed their meal. However, I was a bit disappointed as there were not as many vegan options available as I had hoped.
