Last night around 10:30pm, me and 4 friends arrived at Penny Pub on Main Street to watch the rest of the NFL game that was on. We all are of age, had identification, and were dressed the same. I a weekly regular was let in without issue, however the security guard in the front denied all 4 of the other people I was with for not following the dress code . I asked him what was wrong and he said they weren 't dressed appropriately. I proceeded to show the security guard that we all were wearing the same type of clothing and he must have been embarrassed because he got angry and started to raise his voice. I asked to speak to a manager and was directed to another male, who was visibly intoxicate...
I walked in and approached the bar to order a beer and a guy with an Icelander hat with a sweater, who said “pear” said “Can I help you?” In a disgusting way for me. I said, “I just order a beer, is that okay?” Other guests who went to the bar he went another answer like “Hello welcome you guys here for the Fundraiser”. In a calming voice. Obviously some racist employees. Great service at the bar otherwise. But the guy with the island hat tonight obviously has no hospitality or service experience. He could have met me differently
Nice place of Rum Punsch was delicious. But the pièce de résistance last night for me was the karaoke with Alex who happens every Wednesday night. We're making fun of what could happen on a random Wednesday night. Alex his team was cool hip friendly and welcoming. The karaoke is free, why not take Do you buy a friend head in the penny pub a drink or two a few hours pure unfiltered fun? Are you back next Wednesday?????
We ordered fish and chips with excitement as the pub is located in a beautiful coastal area. The menu said beer battery. What came out was frozen fish fried. The flat rectangular frozen fish fried. Absolutely disgusting for $16 worth of food. Do not recommend this place at all. I tried to call the manager because I don't want to leave any bad reviews. Never again from the manager. I totally ignored my complaint.

Justin our bartender was so fun and full of life, we had the best time! From the drink to the food, 10/10. Vibes were there and we had a great time. Mike the manager was so welcoming recommending us daily specials (highly recommend PB&J SHOT) we can't wait to come back!
My go to latenight spot for drinks, food and a laid back vibe with friends. Coming here with a good few close ones will do you good. The bar food is good too. Steak fries, quesadillas, and the wings. The only spot on Main that stay open past 2am on the weekends
I was just visting NY and it was my first time at this place. I LOVED it! The pumpkin pie martini was amazing as was the food. Seems like anything on the menu is excellent. Bartender was all smiles and great service!Food: 5/5
Great Pub atmosphere, staff are friendly and pretty fast when place is busy.They are worth a great tip.Pool table in back for some fun the foods not bad either. Very chill and fun place to go.

Definitely recommend when Ashley works. She's such a sweet heart and cares for everyone. One of the most beautiful bartenders I've ever met. She brilliant!!!
Stopped in for a drink. Got some wings. Crowd is friendly staff is welcoming.
