This was my first time at a pickle barrel, and I was not overly impressed (Cambridge location). Our servers were quite good, attentive, and quick. The food was only marginal at best. The burger I ordered arrived luke warm and was fairly tasteless. It was not worth the $20 that I was charged. That wasn't what made me give the restaurant a low rating. What did was the state the restaurant was in. The glasses were not clean and spotty. The table had not been cleaned before we arrived, and the washroom was in bad shape. I didn't ask my family how their food was, but my wife really noticed the poor shape of the washroom.I wouldn't accept that from a more reasonably priced restaurant, and I defini...
New residents of the city and now with Covid seemingly over we are looking for a favorite to go to the restaurant. The first time here and came to be sitting around 6 with people who already waited for it. We decided to wait at the bar and was almost immediately approached by Pam and she continued to offer us a stand...wait over: . We ordered buffalo wings for an app and they were brilliantly juicy and saucy with a kick. We both had a burger for our head and the same. Meat was juicy and excellent taste. My only complaint would be a few more pommes nice, but they were good too. Our server Pam and another lady always check on us and were great. We will return to try further items in the menu.
There was no problem with seating and the hostess is very nice, or waitress was also very kind. Now to the food I ordered the parmesan chicken and it was disappointing. No flavor had to add salt,it wasnt great but added something to it . The sauce wasnt great either. The meatloaf also was nothing to be excited for, also missing some flavor to it. The only thing I really enjoyed was the sweet tea. I'm not planning to go back any time soon.
Pleasant atmosphere, seated quickly. Our drinks arrived quickly, appetizer too, mains followed soon after. Steak was very good and a large portion, Buddha bowl very fresh and tasty, great presentation, might be my new favourite salad bowl (my go-to is Beertown Asian Salmon Bowl). Enjoyed my experience here. Only problem was it took an hour for the food to come. I was with a large group of about 12 people and we had to wait for over an hour for the food to come to the table. That's not great when you're on a lunch hour. However, when the food did arrive, it was nice and hot and very flavourful. Not one complaint from my party.
I recently had a wonderful dining experience at pickle barrel . The food was delicious, and the service was top-notch. The staff was friendly and attentive, ensuring that our needs were met throughout the meal. I highly recommend this location for anyone looking for a great dining option.
