This place isn't a huge multimillion-pound chain, and I'm grateful for that. It's a charming pub with clean, efficient service and friendly staff. The drinks are reasonably priced, and there's a young DJ spinning some great tunes. While there isn't an extensive wine list—just standard options of white, red, and rosé—it's drinkable enough, though don't expect anything fancy. The music is at a pleasant volume, not too loud. They have a pool table, ample seating, and clean restrooms. The selection of bitters is somewhat limited, but there’s a good variety of cider and lager, as well as a full range of spirits. Overall, it’s a nice spot to stop in for a few drinks.
