I have been to this Beefeater on many occasions and had excellent food and service. It was my first visit this year and things have really gone downhill since my last visit in December. Myself and a friend were shown to a table and the waitress asked what drinks we wanted as we were walking to our table before being seated. We had our food orders taken and I was asked if I wanted garlic bread with my main meal for an additional cost, I said no but this was on my plate and charged for. This was our first and last time dining at this restaurant. Our Mother's Day brunch was completely ruined by the poor service. We waited over an hour for our food, which arrived cold, incorrect, and of low quality. The manager was unapologetic and tried to downplay the situation, suggesting that we were at fault for ordering incorrectly or that we hadn't been waiting long. Despite finally receiving a discount on our bill after refusing to pay full price, the damage was already done - even the children didn't want to stay for dessert. We are regular visitors as a couple or with friends but our visit with family was not good. We arrived late afternoon and very few people there. Service was slow and food kept on the pass far too long. The children's meals were excellent value but the two rump steak chips from the day time menu were dry and very disappointing. As it was a birthday meal with family it was awkward to ask for fresh food or actually complain which I would have done if we had been served that meal as a couple. Not sure if was lack of staff, inexperienced staff or generally quality of food but no intentio of returning with a party of friends or family.
The food at this restaurant is amazing and the atmosphere is fantastic. Chef Leanne is wonderful, so skilled at her job yet so relaxed. She even sang while cooking and took requests! It was a pleasure to witness and be a part of. Definitely worth a visit, made my Mother's Day experience even more special. Thank you.

Took the family for breakfast the weekend and it was throughly enjoyed by all especially the hash browns! sat near the kitchen could hear the cook singing thought that was nice to know they enjoy their job looking to book to go for breakfast for Mother’s Day!
Great food, great service, we were well looked after by the whole team. 2 of us are gluten free, we always get good food choices, I could use my blue light card. I'd definitely recommend going here for a meal
This restaurant was absolutely fantastic and made Mother's Day special. My mom really enjoyed her meal. Emma and her team were friendly and helpful. We will definitely be returning.
Took my mom for food for mother's day, first time we ever been here Leanne the Chef done amazing job with the food, all the staff was lovely, would recommend to family and friends.

Very nice food not haute cuisine, but good pub grub but nice surroundings and a bright, friendly and efficient waitress called Alison made it a great evening!
Lovely meal tonight the steak was cooked perfectly and the staff are very friendly. Always really enjoy this lovely pub.
