Great pub good menu with lots of variety. Lovely big kids play area and covered outdoor area. Nice walks nearby plenty of space to park. We went as a big group of adults and kids and were well looked after. Kids get a colouring pack which were well received and used. A lovely relaxing Saturday afternoon well spent.
overall it was a beautiful evening with great food. we had booked a table, but when we arrived, it was not obvious who we should report for our table. we were directed to the bar, but the bar was busy and we were standing around. but this has not really spoiled our experience and we had a nice evening.
We've visited this restaurant many times, but during our last visit, it didn't meet the usual standards for food, service, and overall enjoyment. We will be back and will continue to recommend it to friends, hoping that this was just an isolated incident in what is typically a great pub.
Very nice. We will come again to try other meals. Nice country pub feel with better than average food. A little light on the vegetables which is my only criticism. They don’t cost much but make a huge impact so be more generous to prevent disappointment. I had the Duck.
