The Polka Dot Bakery

I’ve visited this stall a few times when in Spitalfields Market, I really appreciate there being a fully vegan stall. The lady who owns the bakery and runs the stall is an absolute sweetheart. All allergens and ingredients are clearly listed in front of each product which makes things so helpful. Everything I’ve bought has always been fresh and lasted several days. The portions are massive so I tend to cut them in half which helps me savour them for longer. She sells cookie sandwiches which are very naughty, brownies, and cake pots. Apparently if you get there early enough she also sells off cuts in boxes.

I can't believe it's gluten-free! The cherry bakewell tart was so delicious that I ate the whole thing... I hate gluten-free but always give gluten-free options a shot and always end up throwing them away after one bite. This woman is working magic here!!! Head down to The Polka Dot Bakery immediately and try one of these delicious tarts! I'm upset I didn't try her tarts sooner, but I'll definitely be back. Cute touch with the polka dot packaging too! Wow, wow, wow! I tried the lemon and blueberry cheesecake, and it was incredibly filling, but I finished it all in one sitting because it was that good! I can't wait to go back and try the brownies. They have such an amazing selection of options! I also love that the owner sells boxes of scraps and offcuts (though you need to get there early to snag them). It's a fantastic idea for reducing waste, and honestly, they taste just as good, if not better, than the regular items!

The woman who runs this market stand was really friendly during my visit, and the cookies, brownies, and other tasty treats were all delightful. The prices were also quite reasonable given their generous sizes and the location in central London. I'll definitely be back when I'm in the area! Réservez une table maintenant

Too much sugar and oil on every bite. We went encouraged by seeing other reviews. We bought 5 different cakes and couldn't finish anything. It was just too much for us, we like sweets but it was to the extreme. The macadamia biscuit had a lot of salt.

I’ve given an extra star because it’s a vegan place but the cookie products I’ve tried have been disappointing. Most recently had the filled cookie pie/cake/massive cookie and it didn’t have much flavour. I don’t think I’ll be back sadly.

I had a wonderful experience at the restaurant! I tried the salted caramel brownie, the peanut butter brownie, and a gigantic chocolate chip cookie. The lady running the stall was incredibly sweet, and the food was absolutely amazing!

I've never tasted brownies or cookies as amazing as these! As a vegan who is also gluten-free, Polka Dot feels almost too good to be true. The flavors are incredibly delightful, and the prices are surprisingly reasonable for London. Réservez une table maintenant

I loveee the brownies here! The salted caramel one is the best! The raspberry and white Choc is also good! There's so many flavours of brownies and cookiesincluding sandwich cookies! Perfect after some savoury food at Spitalfields

We sampled three different types of cookies and blondies, and all three were quite impressive, especially considering they were gluten-free! However, I found them a bit too sweet for my taste.
