The Porter Beer

I had one of their amber ales, a chicken sandwich, and their goat cheese fritters. While Porter Beer Bar is quite expensive, the food they offer is almost magical in quality. The goat cheese fritters were coated in a thin layer of honey and it perfectly balanced its pungency. They were melt in your mouth and incredible. The chicken sandwich was great in a unique way in that the slaw on it gave it a nice herbal taste. The fries that came along with it were perfectly cooked and seasoned with a delicious garlic/chive like concoction. The beer itself.... well it's beer. There are a huge amount of options to explore. It is definitely worth coming here at least once while in Atlanta!

My friends and I stopped in at The Porter Beer Bar for a drink after a 2-day work conference. This is such a cool space!! The bartender was friendly and answered any question. There?s 20+ beers on tap and a great selection. If I lived in the area, Iwould definitely keep coming back.

My boyfriend and I ordered the fish n chips (cod) and the burger. This was by far some of the best food I have ever had! Their fries were the best fries ever! 100% will recommend this place to my family and friends!

Favorite pre-concert spot for shows at the Variety Playhouse, which is across the street. Broad range of styles of beer, and elevated pub food. Friendly, helpful service. One of the top beer bars in the USA.

Went for a drink on a Sunday afternoon. Loved the atmosphere, good selection of drinks. There was a basement like room with aged brewery, that can be 'rented ' by a bigger group.
