We went to the pub on a Wednesday at around 2:00 PM, which is not a busy time. We got a table quickly. and ordered simple food, namely burgers and fried fish, but after more than 30 minutes, we received only sparkling water. When we asked about the food, a man answered that this pub used fresh ingredients therefore it takes a long time. But it will be done in 5 minutes. But as time passed, we hadn 't have the food yet. So we asked again, a woman who appeared to be the manager walked up to the table, without any apology, she told us that it had been a busy day and we didn 't reserve in advance. A large chain but they've cracked the code of getting almost everything perfect, from atmosphere and service to the food and garden (usually with a decommissioned tractor for the kids to play on).

Visited on Saturday 18 May, table of 7 for lunch with dog. Excellent food and drinks, impeccable service. Thank you!
