Thought we would try here as I’ve passed by it for years and it was handy today as we was on way to the college. As I drove in to the carpark I noticed that it was half full of cars . Which I thought...was good which meant it’ must be a popular restaurant . On entry I was amazed that the place was completely empty only is an a barmaid. Any how looking on positively that mean the food would not be as we was the only folk dinning. The food came after around ten minutes. My daughter had a lite bite hunters chicken which she liked . I went for a all day breakfast mine was not so good it consisted of half a slice of bacon x 2 sausages with hardly any meat and chips honestly who as chips on a brea...
Absolutely the worse sunday lunch ever in my entire life! OMG where do i start! Half the plate peas and sweetcorn, two tiny roast potatoes, few carrots, NO yorkshire pudding and the disgusting meat they call roast beef! It was grey in colour! Looked like...pork! So much fat! Food tasted bland. I pushed it away! I could not believe they had served it! My husbands chicken wasnt much better! I complained and told the manager! I was told that the meat was regenerated meat? That Marstons send in inferior meat often! I cant get over how awful it was!
Havent been to this venue for a number of years so thought we would give it a try. Attended with OH on a Thursday evening and they had an offer of any grill includes a free drink. We both chose a mixed grill with a...pint of fosters. The bill was short of £17 so quite good value with the offer. The food took around 40 minutes but we were pre warned and whilst it didn't look particularly well presented it was hot and the contents reasonable. Quite a loud party in (funeral) so I think we possibly picked the wrong night.
came for a birthday meal. renters and renters were very friendly! they won us a nice place and covered the table with bed linen and put banner for the occasion (didnt even ask) eating was good old pub grub. chicken strips were nice as the...lasagne the Roast dinner looked great (although we did not have them) very cheap. there are many entertainments at the weekend!
