Posting on behalf of PeterfromSandhurst, who was limited to only review per month. As I was of the people on this visit, I agree with everything that has been said and whole heartedly recommend the Lord Raglan for family visits. On to...the actual review. visit, this time with six people comprising three generations aged (that day) to almost We agreed that we would just keep ordering one or two plates every minute or so and share them so we could all eat the entire menu, a bit at a time. Over hours and plates of food later the results were in, we had eaten the menu! The clear favourite by show of hands (from the little ones and the ladies) was the sticky toffee pudding (no surprises there)....

First visit on a miserable wet blowy day. We arrived mins before they had officially opened and the heating had not kicked in so we started with a coffee (just to warm up Met Lily (boss), engaging, bright, informative and despite being busy made...time to answer our many questions. Server (Beth) exceptionally helpful so we let her order for us (shared meat platter starter with truffle oil chips (extra i think). Food tray looked great (buttermilk chicken breast bites' x best part of a rack of short pork ribs, pork sausages (with leek pulled brisket and pieces of house special corn on the cob ribs For those who savour food rather than just eating it, the chicken breast was rather dry but the c...

We were given the choice of a table or booth seat, and were promptly asked for our order. I had the Big Smoke burger which was literally the best meal I have ever eaten! It was topped with pulled brisket, which was so tender and flavourful, and just the right amount of melted smoked cheddar. The fried were crispy without being greasy and perfectly seasoned. I chose to have the homemade Chipotle slaw as an extra, which led me...

Enjoyed a great lunch here. The food was superb. I had a perfectly cooked steak and hubby the ribs. The ribs were massive, a huge portion and utterly delicious. My steak came with the most unctuous supremely flavoursome mushroom sauce I have ever tasted. The...waitresses were attentive and friendly. The venue is a lovely pub with a great conservatory atea. This place is perfect.
