"excellent service. my friend is vegetarian and also needs a gluten-free diet. Although there was no special gluten-free menu, the chef made the effort to get out, asking what my friend wanted (she had the risotto, that was nice) and making it from ground up so that he could make sure that it meets their nutrition requirements. the little bit extra wall made a big difference. very friendly staff who was more than happy to answer questions, and with whom they could also laugh. would definitely recommend and will return!"

We are on holiday and popped into the Red Barn for our dinner. There were 5 of us who each had a starter and a main. All the starters came out together and were piping hot. Followed by the mains which again, were pipping hot. Each dish we ordered was cooked to perfection and some of the best pub food we have ever had. We all left feeling very happy with the meals we received. The service from every member of staff we had contact with was exceptional. my friend alice was 100 years old on the 5th feb, so we met and on her recommendation we went to lunch today. she said eating was amazing. well, she had no mistake. they told us there was a waiting time for the food, but it was worth it. I usually leave chips because I don't know, but I couldn't leave anything of it. the blue burger was perfection. alices meal of the smoked salmon also looked amazing. that must have been good that she ate this. manager james and dad geoff were very attentive and friendly like the staff. not only for us (they will understand that they have a soft spot for alice) I really cannot recommend this device very enough. I just wish I lived closer. well done.
I took my removal crew in for a much needed refuel and have to say the food and service was first class with great deals being offered before 3pm, later on we popped in for a few beers and were very impressed with the selection on offer all well priced, the pub was spotless and a credit to yourselves , staff were polite and attentive, we were made to feel extremely welcome by the staff and regulars. Needless to say this is now our pub of choice and we will be frequenting on a regular basis as well as recommending to our family and friends and our clients, thanks again, Jim and Vicky from Executive Moves.
Me and the wife pulled up in motor home to be greeted by the lovely landlord James, he came over and told us to park in a quiet shaded area of the car park with electric hook up!!! HOW AMAZING!! With no charge as long as we had a meal in the pub) we had the best Sunday roast for £8 each and 3 drinks each which all came to less than £30. James the landlord) then had a little chat with us, and told us how to get to town and the best places to visit!! What a guy 100% recommend and definitely come back! Cheers m8 thanks for the stay
