I used to frequent this restaurant for lunchtime drinks and a bite to eat, as well as for early evening drinks after work. However, there was rarely anyone else in the restaurant, which surprised me because I found it to have many great amenities. There is ample parking behind the pub, which is convenient. The interior is well-maintained and charming, with fairy lights and rustic beams in the ceiling. The service was always friendly and welcoming. The prices are very reasonable - one time, I only ordered a pint of squash and a glass of water for someone and the bill came to only 20p!
