Fantastic meal, and good value for money. We were booked on a great big table in the corner as requested, so our large dog could chill underneath the table. It was perfect. Had the beatroot burger duo, was amazing. Unfortunately it was way too much food for me in one plate but my family was more than happy to help finish off my leftovers. If you are used to eating less than average sized meals, do ask the staff about the meal size before ordering. I might stick to starters or light lunch instead of mains next time
We love all of the greedy Gordon eateries for different reasons. For a lovely family meal the red lion is perfect. The menu is extensive and its a lovely environment. The staff are always friendly and we are fortunate enough to live up the road in Brigstock so the red lion isn't far away. Would highly recommend
Always loads of choice here. I respond symptomatically with the slightest contamination- I have always been totally fine here. Great to be able To have a large range of options including chips and battered things as there is gf fryer. Big portions so don’t eat a big lunch beforehand!
First time visit to The Red Lion the food was outstanding. The service was excellent and great atmosphere. My husband had the muscles he said they were amazing best he's ever had. l had a pulled duck burger which was so delicious. We will definitely be coming back.
