Lovely pub/ restaurant we went as a family of six for evening meal and it was faultless, it was tasty and hot the food was delicious I can highly recommend the pate and Hunters chicken the staff were also very polite and helpful, it was...very clean and tidy also a good range of drinks. Plenty of parking We will defo return

Visited the Red Lion twice this week as we were staying at Chester Lakes campsite and this place is about a mile down the road. The food and service was really good on both occasions, must recommend the house burger. Really nice and friendly staff, very nice pub and would definitely visit again if we are in the area.

Had a wonderful lunch with great food and friendly service. We wanted to order starters as a kind of do-it-yourself Tapas and they were more than happy to accommodate our odd request! The decor of the pub is really nice and in the summer...I would love to sit outside. Would definitely recommend a visit!

We had a fantastic meal at the Red Lion. The food was wholesome, well presented and tasty. The service was fantastic with the waitress talked us through the menu and options available. Very attentive service and good value for money. If you haven’t tried this...restaurant before, you need to!

We were allowed to park up and then walk in the lovely local countryside before our meal. There were four of us and we all enjoyed our meals and drinks, especially the Doombar beer.. The staff were efficient and friendly. The eating area was spacious...and pleasant to be in.

we are always greeted with real warmth. Eat is delicious and hot. it is the same menu as other vintage inns, but happy to make a meal tweak to make it easier in calorie for me. it is a great place to go on a cold day. with several open fires to increase the central heating.

had simply roasted the most delicious. the personal was very attentive. beautiful atmosphere. we had the best places to open in the house right next to fire. I can't wait for our next visit.

I ate a meal with my sister. we eat beautiful, a lot of choice, catering for our nutritional requirements. friendly staff, Amble parking and will certainly return in the near future

first visit to older families. beautiful pub. the food came hot as it should. and at once. delicious. great service and friendly staff. to re-think when back in the opposite
