We made a reservation at this restaurant because one of our party needed a gluten-free menu. The pub is lovely, with an open fire, traditional décor, and a beautiful atmosphere. The manager was very pleasant and accommodating, making our experience enjoyable. The food was fantastic and our gluten-free friend plans to return with their family. Personally, I couldn't tell a difference between the gluten-free options and regular menu items - everything was delicious. It was great that our friend had a wide selection to choose from on the menu. I highly recommend trying the mandarin and lemon posset for those who enjoy tangy desserts!

For many years have driven past the pub without calling in , finally decided to break the habit and so glad we did . A couple of drinks and a superb Chicken Thai Green Curry and Chilli Con Carne were a perfect combination . Surrounded...by friendly patrons and pub manager who created a welcoming atmosphere . Since the new owners have taken over the pub is clean, , friendly and welcoming and retains all of its old world charm with a superb range of well kept ales and lagers . We are now regular callers .

have traveled here many times in ashford and it never looked nice, but for a birthday surprise my wife booked a lunch here and I must say we were not disappointed. I think it could have new owners because the bar side of the...the dinge was a little chaotic, but it didn't affect our day, eating was nice and much choice. to come back in any case. Last night we visited this place by chance for us in the opposite beautiful restaurant, with very pleasant employees. the menu is gluten-free, which was ideal for me. the food was excellent, the menu had a good choice. can not blame that. place, defiant will repeat!

We received fantastic service from the moment we arrived! The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and we didn't feel like outsiders, which can sometimes happen at pubs. The server, who had a tattoo on her leg, was friendly and efficient.

We were accommodated for lunch on a Sunday and the experience was absolutely fantastic. The food was delicious and the meat was cooked perfectly. I am definitely planning on returning.

Great place. Completely gluten free. The food us fantastic and the staff are friendly and welcoming. Plenty of parking and dog friendly too. Definitely our new go to' place. Love it. Réservez une table maintenant

First but not last visit. Car park full which is always a good sign, friendly welcome from the landlady and great food and service at good prices. If you've not been, go there!

Four of us have just had a lovely meal in this pub. I’ve never been here before but will definitely return. Lovely staff, great service and a good meal.
