The restaurant was not busy when we arrived at 6.15. The service was excellent as was the food. We really enjoyed our chicken liver pate as a starter and my friend enjoyed the Welsh rarebit, served on chunk of baguette. The fried fish is excellent, the lightest, crispiest batter I've tasted, served with mushy peas, chunky chips and tatare sauce. I had no room for dessert but my friend enjoyed the Belgian waffle and ice cream! Amazing service here, accommodated us as we had a dog, found the WiFi password for us and we're generally very friendly. For the long wait they gave us a discount too. The food was fresh too. Second week in a row stopped for a bite pint . Sat outside due to having a dog.
