The Red Lion Inn - Réservation de table

I was shown to the tap room on entering where I was surprised to find no cask ale. All the beers on counter were mixed gas. However I did enjoy a couple of pints of Spanish beer which, I would otherwise not have tried. Prices are above a fiver for a pint as I write. I will be visiting again, it is a vibrant place, I visited on a Friday evening.

Very disappointed as we had booked a table for food for a friend's birthday. Only to be told on arrival that they stopped serving food prior to our booking time. We got the feeling on arrival they had double booked us... Would have made sense to call us and inform food stops early as it was 7.50 when we arrived, 5 mins late for a 7.45 booking.

Pre walk meal and the Sunday roasts were delicious. Plentiful meat with the most delightful roast potatoes, and crispy Yorkshire pudding and a huge jug of gravy, Medley of winter veg to accompany all of this with creamy mashed potato. Cask ales and a very nice wine selection topped off the whole experience, well done to all of the staff!

Sunday Lunch was wonderful. Great sized portions, well cooked and presented. Was expecting a larger bill than we got, so great value. Very attentive Staff, top class service. Will be back! Off for an after lunch nap now, can’t keep my eyes open! Thanks everybody! Réservez une table maintenant

Wow, popped in today to grab some lunch not been before. Staff here lovely and very attentive, food was really good better than I expected good price also. We will 100% be back to try a different dish. Thanks to all the staff. Well done.

Excellent food. Over the moon that the haddock and chips came with real homemade chips these are hard to come by these days. The roast dinners that my fellow diners had were also brilliant.

Good customer service fantastic food good beers, wines, spirits, very friendly staff, great to see beccy and Andy bring the villiage pub back to life, very cosy, won't go anywhere else

What a pretty pub. Dog friendly and very happy, helpful staff. Food was excellent and hot!
