We walked in armed with our beginners’ Spanish no worries Jonathan (the owner) speaks 5 languages! He is a diamond of a guy and so is his place the food is good and plentiful and the welcome doesn’t get any better. All the staff were very friendly and Jonathan is a mine of useful information and sound advice in any language!! We both had a huge, very tasty hamburger filled with surprising goodies which was freshly made for us. Give this great place a try how many restaurants do you go to and walk out with a fresh mango just picked straight from the tree! The Red Pepper Mexican Restaurant epitomises the friendly ‘village’ feel of La Herradura. They are two of Spain’s hidden gems! Hasta luego...
Tried this New Mexican restaurant for the first time with friends and had a very enjoyable meal, started with Enchilladas Langostina then Chimichangas Vedura. Flavours were great and service was also very good waiter spoke excellent English and was very helpful. Not too sure about the two one star reviews on the side, but we had a great meal and as two of our friends are vegan they were offered vegan cheese with their meal. Guacamole and tortilla chips for tapas was also very tasty. Very good Sunday afternoon, try it with open mind.
We were looking forward to a nice Mexican dinner but it was truly awful. Everything is covered in barbecue sauce. I ordered the burrito with salsa, black beans, cheese and rice etc, when I received it with just rice and chicken in I questioned the waiter. His response was that they didn’t have any salsa or black beans!! This restaurant is 20 metres from a supermarket selling these ingredients! This really is the worst Mexican meal we have ever had and I advise you not to go. There are many good restaurants in the village
MENUDO DESCUBRIMIENTO!!! Si te apetece algo diferente en La Herradura también con opción vegetariana y vegana tienes que probarlo. Fuimos 4 amigos y todo lo que pedimos estaba buenísimo (vegano o no) , la comida casera mexicana de calidad, el precio muy bueno y el trato excepcional. Volveré sin duda alguna.

Lovely place and lovely staff. Really reasonably priced and extremely tasty. Particularly appreciated how clean and fresh it was. We'd fancied a Mexican within a couple of days of arriving and found this place on our last night as it hadn't even been open a week! Will definitely be visiting again.
We started with some great cocktails. We had an excellent meal, burritos, fajittas, rice and salad. Finally a delicious dessert. And all at a very reasonable price. Excellent restaurant .
Wir hatten Tacos, Burrito und Chimichangas .Es war alles sehr lecker und zu vernünftigen Preisen. Auch Tequila und Margerita waren sehr gut. Klare Weiterempfehlung!
Muy buena atención y muy buenos platos. Tienen mucha variedad y además de todo tienen opción vegetariana!! Me encantó, para repetir seguro.

Food cold, ordered two fajitas but served one. No aguacates in dish. Served two fajitas eventually but had to pay double. Pay and forget.
