I arrived here nearly two hours before a Champions League match. Got a seat. Lots of reserved tables, but also plenty of other free seating. As soon as my friends arrived, half an hour before kick-off, we were asked to move. The barman who previously...instructed me not to sit elsewhere now told me that the ostensibly free seats we were now sat in were places for locals. For a so-called Irish pub, in a supposedly cosmopolitan city, very smalltown. Staffing was paltry, which meant that drinks, food even the bill took forever to arrive. if they are a non-smoking, they will not like the red rooster as it fits to smoke. there is a seating area in the free, which is open during a suitable weather. that said you single paints Scotch menu is impressive. the music is loud unless there is a football game on....You eat surprisingly well! and what can you say about the beer? it is German beer (veltins on tap) so you can't go wrong. the waiting staff speaks English, enough for a pub. the biggest thing they have for them is atmosphere. during the socialist period there were no pubs, so that this site was opened shortly after the fall of the wall (in berlin, i.e.) to make it the oldest pub in dresden.
after dinner we had made the reservation in pub. knowing that this day will be very crowded because of the champions liga finale. we enjoyed our drinks and the game. what is regrettable. they do not accept credit cards. but to visit all the great places. but do not forget the money: R.K.

The biggest assets of the pub are its courtyard and the rustic atmosphere. Patrons and other guests are sociable and communicative, which make for an entertaining atmosphere. The choice of drinks is alright, food is simple and tasty. The pub makes for a good evening...out.
found the red rooster by accident when looking for a restaurant offering something to eat late night in surrounding of Dresden Jazzclub Tonne They have a good choice of food and drinks, staff was very friendly, ambience is very nice but: it's a smokers restaurant!
not a big sortiment, but the prices are very nice, good beer, they can have a nice evening here in any case. the people say they smoke here, but during our visit it was okay, no problem. very nice in the yard
This bar is on point. I really enjoyed the atmosphere and the food. The server even gave me a free drink for being such a great customer. If you make it to Dresden, Germany this is definitely a go to place.

this pub has a lot of charm and a beautiful selection of beer and spirituosen. the part for me was the number of smokers. it reminded me how much I hate to be in this witness.
