We came to Echuca for a holiday and had a hankering for Thai food. We love Thai food. This restaurant came up on my google search. How happy it did. We were so happy with the food and the service we came back on our...last night to do it all again. We had the coconut prawns and chicken stay entre and the seafood hotpot for mains. The seafood hotpot was so good we had it both times we visited. Can thoroughly recommend this restaurant. So good.
If you love Thai then I highly recommend a visit to the River Thai. From the moment we entered we were not disappointed. The staff were fantastic but even they were out done by the food. We ordered mains, fried rice, coconut rice, steamed...rice and drinks and to say we were totally surprised by the bill would be an understatement. At just over per person we left there full of fine food and full of appreciation.
We don’t often got to Thai restaurants now. So glad we decided to go to this one. I don’t normally go for curried seafood dishes, had the most delicious combination (asked for hot and it was just right). My wife had the Green Curry with...prawns. It was mild, and perfect for her tastes. The presentation was good, service fast, and the atmosphere was good too. We’ll go back soon.

I'd read all the review on here but we still thought we try it out as there were some good reviews in the mix. A very disappointing meal that was bland and not well cooked. We ordered a Lamb curry and the lamb was so...tough we couldn't even cut it eat it. Will definitely not eat here again on future visits to Moama.
The river Thai provided us with excellent service and tasty food. The staff were welcomingly friendly and attentive. Best Thai food we have had in years
Definitely worth booking as this gets busy. We ended up with a takeaway. Curry puffs second to none but curry a bit ordinary but still tasty.
This was beutiful and fresh highly recommend it,staff were really freindly and didnt wsit long..if you like thai you will love this place

We had takeaway, there was no live in their cooking. Was hanging out for Thai and we were all pretty disappointed
