Lovely decor, friendly non intrusive staff but food dull as dishwater. Three of our party ordered lasagne which we all found to taste fake' like a shop bought ready made sauce with minimal meat content and devoid of any authenticity. The sprinlking of frozen chips...on the side were also dull as dishwater. Two starters of lamb koftas and garlic mushrooms were also bland, and uninspiring and clearly churned out in a factory by the bucketload. Unfortunately despite looking forward to a hearty meal on a cold day what was presented to us was totally unsatisfactory. Meagre portions combined with overpricing means that we will not be returning, Hopefully this review with assist others in making a decision about whether to spend their hard earned cash here or not.

I have just arrived back from a lunch today. The third time we have been, ate off the Festive Menu. It was disappointing to see there was only one real ale on tap one I liked but not a preference of my friend. All...three starters were very small! Comments across the table before anyone had lifted a knife and fork. Steak average and Apple Pie luke warm. Awkward to complain in front of friends when you are out to enjoy a lunch, having not seen each other for a long time. Staff friendly and a nice pub, food very forgettable. When we meet again looking for a venue off a motorway to suit people travelling from different areas, it’s going to be a change.

My husband lost his wallet what a panic, his driving license and some cash were in it. James, who works at the Robin Hood, called him to tell him he'd found it in the car park. What a hero. Not only that, he posted...it back to London. What an amazing kind man. Top class service. We'll definitely be stopping in for a drink when we are next in the area. Thank you!
