The Rock Grill and Patio

Their meals are reasonably priced given the tourist nature of Muskoka. I had the filet mignon which was very good and cooked perfectly, and which came with veggies and potato. The quality and value were good. My guest has the roast which was good, though not great (a bit overcooked and not as warm as expected). The setting and view were nice, though we stayed indoors. Staff is friendly.

The Rock is situated on a golf course, quiet and beautiful setting. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. The menu items are typical pub fare with a few more refined items. Pasta was nice with grilled vegetables and olive oil. Affordable wine choices. There was a nice live piano and sax duo playing on the patio.

Stumbled upon The Rock when we were touring around the Muskoka region. Seemed upscale but the menu was perfect for our needs- at a reasonable price. Sat on the patio and was treated to live music by a gentleman on an electric keyboard. Enjoyed our dinner and would suggest a visit here.

Tender, lean steak, perfect for a steak sandwich. Soft, fresh, slightly toasted bun. Correct portions of cheese, veggies, and horseradish mayo. Best I've had in a long time... looking forward to the next time!

Food is good if limited -- burgers, sandwiches, salads, fish and chips. Music system can be too loud, but mostly it's a nice spot to have a drink at the end of the day and look out over the lake.
