As vegans it is very difficult to find a restaurant with a decent meal. Well we found it in Mojacar. A little bit hidden gem off a restaurant on the top floor off the commercial centre of Mojacar. We had four vegan plates. The vegetable platter The presentation was amazing, it looked like a painting so beautiful), the vegetable Caribbean rundown, the Moroccan vegetables and the Jamaican vegetable pepper pot. Every dish was full of taste and beautifully presented. Home made hummus to die for accompanied the vegetable dish. We targeted this place for a meal following the good reviews for the veggie and vegan options. We visited earlier in the week during the day and saw a large a-frame sign outside saying they are open 10am till late for most of the week. After double checking the Google business listing confirming it was open till 9pm, we drove several miles up the coast only to find it closed on a Thursday evening (the sign was still in place confirming it should be open). Suggest checking with them directly to avoid disappointment as the opening hours are currently not as advertised. After the inconvenience caused even after all our research we won 't be returning for another attempt.
I was really happy the first time I visited, but a 2nd time with my husband we chose the veg Massaman Curry which is the most expensive vegan option at €11.95 (same price for chicken or prawn options). It came as mostly strips of yellow pepper with 2 small cubes of potato. Very disappointing. My husband remarked how small the portion of curry was too. First experience .. I've added the menus to photos as I was surprised by the choice in selection. I had Carribbean Rundown but almost went for the Massaman Curry, Pulled Seitan, vegan chilli or veggie stack burger
Precioso restaurante en una ubicación impresionante. La comida fue fantástica. Tuvimos la cena del domingo de rosbif que cocinaron a nuestro gusto (raro y mediano). Los pudines de Yorkshire eran de primera calidad, perfectamente cocinados con una rica y sabrosa salsa. Dejamos sitio para el postre que no defraudó. La tarta de cerezas estaba deliciosa. Definitivamente regresaremos para probar otras opciones del menú. Lo siento, no hay fotos de comida, estaban demasiado ocupadas comiendo.

La primera vez que fui a este gran restaurante para el almuerzo del domingo, hice la reserva porque pude ver que el solomillo de rosbif se sirve crudo, mi esposo se comió todo, comí el pollo que estaba delicioso, definitivamente regresaré, tuve que dejar algo de mi almuerzo para hazle hueco a la tarta de queso al horno con chocolate blanco y jengibre, también deliciosa
