Went to the roundhouse for the first time on Sunday for their Sunday lunch with my family. We had a pram and were not made aware upon booking of the large amount of stairs which was unhelpful. If you are coming here with a pram make sure you can carry it separately to the baby! The Sunday Lunch itself was okay. I was expecting a bit more since the reviews are glowing but to be honest it wasn't that good. I ordered the beef which was very fatty and almost too tough to cut through, needed a steak knife but they don't provide one. we came here as a family and it was an absolutely brilliant experience from beginning to end. the staff was super friendly and friendly and the eating was amazing! it was Sunday, so fry around, and oh my goodness they were ever good. we had the 3-course menus and from beginning to end, it was not disappointed. the squirrel and the squirrel was amazing and so a light starter, but we also tried the mac and cheese and flower cauliflower soup that were absolutely delicious. the chicken and bark were fantastic and the sauces were great. we were very grateful and they brought extra yorkshire puddings for my onkel (he was thrilled! . dessert was also excellent and we loved the brownie, crumb and or...
A pleasant venue and staff were helpful but the food was nothing to write home about and we all felt slightly disappointed. I broccoli was overcooked and, for me, inedible. The red cabbage was so sweet I couldn't eat that either and the Yorkshire pudding looked unappealing and tasted like a pancake. The saving grace was my chicken which was melt in the mouth delicious. They also charge an extra 10% service charge which we didn't know about until point of payment.
this was by far our best experience when it comes to eating here nottingham! I am not exaggerated, eating was absolutely tasty, not only well made I had the filet, the buttery taste is amazing and the steak was also great, the halloumi tender and full of aromen, the gloomy omg at point it was not busy as the people still think it is closed, beautiful atmosphere, it is very underestimated honest! many thanks for this amazing place

What a lovely place with great decor . Despite staff shortages , you could not fault the ladies who were running front of house; professional, engaging hardworking . The food was very nice although luke warm I’m sure hot plates would have helped. Special mention to Lisa who not only was a great host but dealt with our constructive feedback very well .
The pork roasts are delicious and I really recommend them, however the vegetarian and beef roasts could've been better as the beef was dry and the quorn was a bit unappealing. Overall I've had really lovely experiences at this pub and I will be returning soon.
Interesting bit of Nottingham history, placed within the old round wards of General Hospital. Nice branded gin glasses, had a bit of a wait to be served, otherwise 5
Meeting family in Nottingham and came here and had a fabulous Sunday lunch. Food was delicious and the service was excellent. Would definitely visit again. .

Absolutely top class food in a lovely warm and relaxing environment. Staff were very helpful and extremely friendly. Will definitely be coming back!!!
Delicious and beautifully garnished dishes at right prices. The atmosphere is pleasant and cosy. Love this place.
