The Royal - Réserver une table

Medium sized American style traditional diner with ok coffee, usual menu in large portions. We got there just before closing no time for a meal so settled for slice of banana cream pie. It was excellent! Really great flavor and texture, not too sweet, fresh tasting and aromatic. Very worth the visit. But what stood out for me most was the small town warmth, friendliness, good cheer and welcome that exuded from everyone we interacted with at The Royal... waiters, locals, fellow diners. That characteristic seems to apply to everyone we met with outside the cafe and around town and that's why think we will be back here again soon

If you drive through West Central Minnesota from U.S. highway 10, there is a city called Little Falls, it is home to Charles Lindbergh. It is also home to a picturesque little restaurant called The Royal Cafe, it is small in size, but great in taste. our server; we think was the owner, wait for tables. The food was delicious and filling. With my wife's gluten allergy, she knew what she was eating and treated us well. This is an MUST VISIT when in the area.

Here are the locals. We had a table near us of five older Lords who came at a time in one, I think only two of them ordered, the other three just sat down and within minutes they had their usual before them. The food was good and plentiful.

Home cooking and the best hometown atmosphere in any Little Falls restaurant. Excellent for Brunch breakfast. Keep the small buffet well in stock. I had the Walleye Hoagie first installment!
