This is the 2nd visit to this little gem of a quintessential British village pub. The first time we sat outside in the sunshine. Beer choice is great, but the salt pepper squid starter was cooked to perfection. We followed up with one of their woos fired pizzas Anchovies mushroom olives cheese pizzas every bite was mouth watering... this is not a flashy castor pub, but the food we had was so good and staff were so nice I had to write a review..excellent food.
The food was very disappointing. The lasagne was a dry stodge, mainly pasta and definitely lacking meat and flavour. The fish from the fish and chips was really overcooked and dried out. Will not be eating here again!
Just popped in for a swift half to refresh us on our long walk. A relief to find this village pub still surviving Didn't eat but they do good pub grub by the looks of it. Friendly staff and a good real ale
This was really good place to go out to. Very nice food and a good variety of choices to eat. Staff were very friendly. Eat inside or outside. Have to order at the bar but they bring out the food. Réservez une table maintenant
Even though I'm not particularly fond of pizza, this restaurant is a must-visit for pizza lovers. I always make a stop here when passing through, and they just might change my mind about pizza!
I adore this pub. It's a delightful spot to stop for a drink after a stroll. Don't miss out on their olives – they pair perfectly with any beverage.
This is a lovely village pub, good selection of beers both pump and craft cans l, food i had was very nice too
Amazing food and quite fast service too especially for a Saturday night. Will definitely be coming back. Réservez une table maintenant
