After the movies today, my date and I decided to stop at the rustic table. With a name like the rustic table, I expected a more homeier and warmer interior, however, I found it to be more corporate with many dark colors and not a lot of color accents. We ordered the brie to start followed by chicken wings, followed by the cheesecake of the week which was double chocolate. The brie dish looks impressive when it comes out it's served in a cast iron dish. As I tried it I thought it was alright, but I also felt like it needed more sweetness the brie was mostly melted. Server told us a 7oz glass of red wine was $8.50. Turned out it was $14. Server said we were being served 7oz glasses. Turned out it was 4oz. Yes we measured. What a sham. Ordered the jerk chicken- took over an hour. Only one other table of 2. My guess is the chicken was frozen and they were trying to thaw it then cook it. Was **** inside. Best to be honest next time.
