The Rusty Monk - Réservation de table

It is so great to have a Belgian restaurant in Whittier. This place is cozy, warm and original. The beer and wine selection is great. They have an awesome menu, pretzels, charcuterie boards, fish and chips and schnitzel and more! Felt like I was in Europe. I had the veggie shepherd pie and my husband had the lamb. We were both so happy and very satisfied. On Saturdays, they have live music which was a really nice touch.Great service!Love it!

I have to admit that I was a bit underwhelmed by The Rusty Monk. I ordered the Bratzel but was left wanting. The sausage felt hard in my mouth... and not in a good way. It was cold and undercooked as opposed to hot and robust as a sausage should be. I pray that that the Rusty Monk offer up some Hail Mary's and repent from their ways. Amen.

Excellent service, food, and beer. I have tried their osso bucco, fish and chips, sausages, cheeseburger, and pretzels and they have all been amazing. They have a great selection of German beers, too. On the weekends they have a live performer who plays the saxophone which is always wonderful. I would highly recommend!

Went on a Saturday for lunch. Wasn't busy. Food and service was good. Excellent burger. They tag on a 4.4% surcharge if you pay by credit card. You can ask the waiter to adjust it on the handheld payment device if you want to pay by cash. Réservez une table maintenant

This place has a great ambiance. Our family loved it. There was background music without being too loud so we were able to hear each other talk! The food was amazing and their hard kombucha is the best! We have a new spot!!!

We tried The Rusty Monk for the first time tonight and it was fantastic. I got the braised short ribs and was blown away by how delicious it was. My husband got the shepherds pie and love it!! We will definitely be back!!!

The relaxing atmosphere loved the music. The food and drinks were spectacular. We overstayed our time due to catching up with family, but everyone was pleasant. We're going back next week.

Love the food the hamburger and the steak was amazing, and they have a good selection of Belgium and Germany beers.
