I'm here twice now and every time was more incredible than the last. I didn't know what to expect when I first decided to dinate in the Saddle Room, but when I finished eating, I was glad I did. Its menu includes an impressive list of grilled steaks and chiffs, as well as pastas, salads and other entrees that combine well with their cocktails. To date, I had (and wildly recommend) the Warren Chop, who was one of the best pig hacks of my life, and their gourmets take on chicken and waffles. In addition to meals, they serve home made bread from the spent grains from their brewery, served with salted maple butter that is for to die. I wish I could tie all this together by recommending a favorit...
My first time at The Saddle Room and definitely not the last. Great ambience indoors, but the best part is the large outdoor patio overlooking the water. Think fireplaces, herb gardens and patio lights. They had non-alcoholic beverages which is a hugeplus (my Virgin mojito pictured here was really good, and my friend?s na beer ?didn?t taste like sh*t? so we were happy). I hadthe ribeye and my friend had the surf and turf and we both enjoyed our food. The only thing that tops the ambience and food wasservice: our waitress was genuinely friendly and nice, the right amount of attentive, and timed her appearances perfectly. Greatdinner spot, highly recommend!
The food is unique, so you must be ready to taste something that is not on the menu of any other restaurant. That said, the menu items are still chicken, beef, etc. just better prepared and cooked for perfection. I never had a meal from this place that didn't want me anymore and if you love rootbeers and didn't try their rootbeer cookies, you must. Who can taste a cookie like a soda and still be good? These guys can! Great food, beautiful place, PERFECT DATE NIGHT!
The Saddle Room is a unique restaurant with some nice features. The patio is beautiful. We were seated inside in a booth that had curtains 3/4ths around it. Great for covid. We faced a window that looked out onto the patio. The menu has variety. I chose a pasta dish which was delicious. The staff was busy. We had to wait at times. Did someone call off? Were they short staffed? Not sure, but I was still happy.
Just visited (8/31/2020) for my birthday and we should originally be out, but rain was on the forecast. They always have a great service, but the additional steps they have taken to our security during these Kovid times was great! The front door was open all the time so fresh air in, they distributed all diners far apart, used disposable menus, and the staff all wore masks. I recommend a visit!
Great restaurant in both summer and winter. In summer, they have a nice elevated deck with a large fireplace ????. In winter, you get a warm, dark wood, dimly lit decor, with yet another larger fireplace. Calamari and steak or build your own Angus orWagyu beef burger are the go to items. Cob salad in picture is delicious, and the flat bread pizza hit the mark. Also thedrink menu is stacked.
Great local atmosphere and delicious aromas make this hidden gem a must try. The room is ideal for groups and is beautiful for a family meal or intimate special occasions. We enjoyed celebrating time. The staff tried to make our culinary experience unforgettable. Tje Horsestall theme is well executed and the menu is quite expansive. Recommended!
