It is what it is. Ordered drinks and some oysters and sat on the balcony. The balcony is pretty grubby and there is no bar upstairs but the sunshine was nice. 20 minutes after ordering we were told they only had 3 oysters left. Bit annoying but these things happen and we are a bit more forgiving of an establishment that is first and foremost a pub. Money refunded without hassle. Might be ok for a down and dirty pint with mates but wouldn't make a night of it here.
Yuk! The food here is rubbish. The pork belly had some kind of weird stuffing that looked like fermented cat food. Tye loaded chips are ok,The girl that took our order was unenthused and forgot our drinks, there also brought out incorrect food items, such a disappointment for such an iconic place.
The food is decent considering it's a pub and very affordable. They have great specials frequently. Chicken parmigiana with chips was good and fresh tasting. Chips are chunky and crisp. Burger was alright. Drinks are well priced. It is what it is, unpretentious and laid back.
Garlic bread in a board for entree. Ordered 2 beef & 1 chicken burger. Got 2 chicken & 1 beef. Told no lettuce and would substitute with other salads. Just got a slice of tomato in the bun. Beef patty burnt and bitter. ....****! ....Should have stayed at home. Réservez une table maintenant
Met here with family. Food was really nice. My children enjoyed it also which can be very difficult to achieve. Worth a return visit. Good value especially with the entertainment book voucher:)
I love this pub. They do great pub food and it has a great vibe about the place. In a great location and heaps of screens to watch sport on. Also has pool tables as well as eating areas.
Very good customer service, nice atmosphere, food was yummy although asked for medium well and it come out tasting a little burnt and chewy, still a nice lunch though.
Not surprisingly there are a number of pubs in the Fremantle area, though the scene has changed a lot since the days where is was a rough and tumble port. Réservez une table maintenant
