The Saint George has a huge restaurant and the first time we didn't book, the place was full with kids pirate party! We were directed to the bar and I have to say it was excellent. You have to order at the bar but you can order from the restaurant menu, so it didn't bother us at all. There were high tables with stools and a nice view of the road. Lots of TVs around, place was nice and warm. The food were all delicious, love the sirloin steak with mushroom sauce to die for. Highly recommended for a nice meal , cosy pub atmosphere. We were there on a Monday night, so the bar wasn't noisy or crowded, even with the kids pirate party in the main restaurant, we had a lovely uninterrupted evening....
El bar tiene una buena atmosfera en la parte de afuera, el servicio es bueno pero la comida es terrible, yo pedí una pizza margarita que suele ser rica en cualquier lugar pero aca fue la peor, demasiado pesada, solo sabia a pasta de tomate artificial y ni hablar de la masa. Mis amigas pidieron steak y esta muy duro, por el precio no valia la pena para nada. Ademas pedimos copas de vino, todas diferentes y no se cual de todos era peor, parecia que tenian la botella abierta por meses. Pedimos una segunda ronda con vinos diferentes esperando que ibamos a tener algo bueno por fin pero no, eran igual de malos... Creería que es un bar para ir solo a tomar cerveza, depronto esa si es buena. Pero ni...
I had a meal last night with work colleagues. The wait staff mucked up our booking had no table for us. We were not told about it being a kids eat free night.The meal was extremely average.But one of the wait staff was appalling rude to me when after there was a mix up about a drink I had paid for but not received. I was almost accused of lying and she totally embarrassed me in front of my work colleagues. She stormed off and loudly accused me of being rude to her, when all i wanted to know was where was my drink I had paid for.I would never go here again or recommend it to anyone.
It's our local and I've been here before and enjoyed the meal but sadly, this was not our experience this time. Went up with the wife and daughter and though not overly busy when we arrived the service was slow and below standard. The food arrived after what seemed like ages with one dish over cooked and another under cooked. Lastly, two people ordered desert which, after 30minutes waiting then asking a staff member, never materialised. Based on this experience we probably won't visit our local, which is disappointing.

Had a lunch meeting at the Saint for work. Nice setting, staff were very attentive and the food was good. I had the oysters Kilpatrick and the scallops and pork. Oysters were nice although a little over cooked the pork was delicious and the scallops were well cooked. Over all very nice indeed 7/10
We attended The Saint for Thursday night quiz night with a few friends & were sadly let down big time. Service was slow! Food was terrible! Quiz host you couldn't hear at all so we couldn't even participate much! Just an overall **** experience & terrible atmosphere!
Went here for dinner before going on to the cinema,waiting staff very friendly and attentive.My wife had the rump steak which she said was very tasty and I had fish and chips,both were generous portions.will definitely go back to try more of the menu.
Came here twice for steak Wednesday with friends, nice sized portion for 12 dollars but very sloppy presentation chips on the bottom and your steak and sauce on top of them makes the meal very soggy.

Tried to book Friday night told not to worry plenty of room, but when we arrived 7pm told booked out. The room was half full and no one came in the rest of the night. Ruined our night
