The Salix Beach Cafe

our breakfast enjoyed us very much this morning. the posing eggs with avocado were beautifully cooked like the full English breakfast. the owners and the staff are so welcoming and eating has such a welcoming atmosphere. this place will now be a firm favorite with us. so until the summer afternoon arrive and we can enjoy a cocktail sitting outside on the deck watching the sunset. we will be in front of the wood burner, enjoy breakfast or lunch. I'm so glad we found the salix.

What a truly lovely place with such incredible views of the sea..the cafe is so quirky and fun and the owners were fabulous !!!! We are currently walking the whole UK coast path for charities mind and children in need and we were gifted...a meal refreshments we were soo happy and humbled by their kindness xxfood was the fresh, tasty and strawberry milkshake was incredible. Thanks so much for your generosity . I

we could not have found a better place for hearty breakfast, the service was excellent, as the friendliness of the owner and the coworker, mari made us very welcome. the caffe was clean and tidy and the toilet facilities were also excellent. the caffe sits. on the edge of the beach with beautiful views. Thank you for having looked after us. by the golfers

We booked in for breakfast based on great trip adviser reviews so glad we did! It is a gem of a place, right on the beach front. We had a fabulous breakfast and booked for the next morning there and then. The owners are...very welcoming and obviously put their heart and soul into the business. See you next year! If you only go to one cafe in Shanklin make sure it’s the Salix. This is a gem of a place on the beach with comfortable seating, lovely setting and wonderful staff. Mari and Mark make you very welcome and their cocktails are worth the...walk along the beach towards Sandown.

this licensed caffe was discovered on a walk from shanklin to sandown and arrived for a bite and a drink. very friendly owners and eating was exceptional, would highly recommend

Fantastic setting right on the beach. The owner changed our beer without a quibble because it tasted a bit off... But he was absolutely brilliant about it.
