The Salted Fry has some of the best fries and sandwiches anywhere in the Greater Orlando area! Not only that, this place is also gluten free!! You can’t even tell a difference! They have an amazing selection of sauces, loaded fries, poutine, drinks, sandwiches, and more! Their sauces are really what takes the fries to the next level don’t be afraid to get adventurous and try some unique combinations! My mentality is, the more unique, the better! Parking can be an issue here, like any place in Mount Dora especially on a busy day. So, be prepared to potentially walk a bit from the parking lot to The Salred Fry. It’s worth it though! As a person with gluten sensitivities, I was pleasantly surprised to find that everything on the menu at this restaurant was gluten-free. Typically, I have to carefully choose what to eat, but here I had so many options to pick from. The cheesesteak was incredibly tasty, and I couldn't resist finishing it even after I was full. The fries were also delicious. My friends and I all enjoyed our meals, and I was touched that they chose this restaurant specifically for me. Everyone agreed that the food was excellent and they would happily return, even if gluten wasn't a concern. One big plus for those with dietary restrictions: the entire restaurant is gluten-free.
We were looking for a quick bite to eat around lunch time and had a hankering for fries. Couldn't be happier with what we received! We ordered a Peaked Hill and a coupe of sodas. The large is more than enough for two people as we couldn't even finish it. The location is a bit small, but there is seating both inside and out. Drinks are a bit pricey and individually bottled. Also serve alcohol like beer, cider, and wine slushies. Parking: Located in downtown Mount Dora, parking can be difficult to find close but there are multiple free parking lots around the small downtown area.
We obsessively researched The Salted Fry while planning our trip and still were pleasantly surprised by how adorable it is. My husband and I split a large pizza fry and it was just enough food *as lunch* for two. If this was just a snack, it might have been too generous a portion. My mom had the chicken salad sandwich and I 'm pretty sure my child tried every variety of 'sprinkle ' on his fries. The ghost pepper ketchup was so good we grabbed a bottle to go. I came all the way from Canada to visit Mount Dora and stumbled upon this fantastic spot with a warm and friendly atmosphere. The fries were excellent, cooked to perfection, and the soda was tasty as well. The service was top-notch, with a dine-in experience that exceeded my expectations. The price range per person was between $10-$20. I would give the food, service, and atmosphere all a perfect 5 rating. I highly recommend trying their French fries.

For those with dietary restrictions, this restaurant offers a wide variety of delicious gluten free options. The service is excellent, whether you choose to dine in or take out. Great food and atmosphere. I don't like when restaurants are charging for the credit card fee. Most everyone are using credit cards and the restaurants know this.
