What can I say? This place is phenomenal and gets better with each visit. I've been coming here for a few years now, and you can truly see the love and dedication the staff have for the animals. All the animals appear happy and have plenty of space to thrive. The enclosures are well-designed, and there's a wealth of information available about the animals and wildlife in general. It's definitely worth a visit, and it was a refreshing change after visiting a very different sanctuary earlier in the day.
astonishing as usual. was not in a because of kovid, but there were many changes and looks beautiful. as usual, the animals were well cared and happy. this place has long been a family lover of us! our mentally ill infant could hardly contain themselves, but the free chickens were a great opportunity for them to learn how to respect them and give them space.
We spent a few hours at this wonderful place. There are plenty of animals to see for kids up to 7 years old, and I was pleased to see that all the animals had ample space and enrichment. The café offered delicious food with many vegan options. Additionally, it’s great to know that it's a charitable organization. Overall, we had a fantastic morning!
Ferne Animal Sanctuary is a beautiful place that rescues and rehabilitates animals in need. The staff are amazing and they truly care about the welfare of every animal that comes through their doors. First time visiting and all of my party were very impressed. A wonderfully tranquil place with ponds and wildfowl rabbits, Guinea pigs, chinchillas, pigs, goats, chickens etc. Great cafe the food is wonderful. A good gift shop and all in all a great experience. All the staff are so friendly and welcoming. Our first time but it won't be our last.
