Not impressed at all. After a previous issue that my family experienced in this establishment, we let it go and continued to visit here, nearly on a weekly basis for lunch. On our last visit which will be our last , the staff couldn’t not accommodate food for a fussy two year old, which they have always done. The most frustrating thing was that the customer in front of us was told that there were no rolls left for her soup, she asked for the last baguette to be halved. She was told they weren’t suppose to do that but they would do it as a one off! Now all I requested was a slice of ham for a child to go along with their soup which I was willing to pay for and was told I would have to pay for a full sandwich £3+ . This meant £3 for a slice of ham, even though we requested this regularly and got it for a small fee. When asked to speak to another member of staff or manager, I was told there is no manager anymore and all staff will agree with me on the ham as quote ‘we don’t sell ham like that’. What about my previous visits? The service and ability to accommodate a two year old was not acceptable and I will not return to this cafe. I would recommend anyone with children to avoid here due to the lack of accommodation my family and I experienced. There are plenty of other cafes nearby who will most certainly accommodate you and your kids needs. This is petty over a slice of ham. It’s the principle that one customer could be accommodated and another could not!
