Had a memorial Mass for our Dad and some of us had decided to go for a meal afterwards so I rang asked if they had a table for nine the girl said I'll check with the kitchen? she came back and said sorry kitchen unable to accommodate nine people, so I went to website and looked at the online booking put in details and hey presto no problem computer said yes, wish I hadn't bothered meals ordered waited awhile meals arrived I had curry mine arrived and was lukewarm onion bhaji was well overcooked micro rice undercooked, chips as bland as usual, Grandson said his mixed grill wasn't nice egg hard sausage was black on one side steak was cold, asked daughter how her meal was she just shrugged afte...
Went as a family 17.12.23 four out of 5 meals sent straight back as soon as served like warm some overcooked burnt this is not our first time but thought as it is local to us we would give it another go but not eating there again it seems food must be batched cooked kept under lamps then dishes up as ordered as proven by getting served quite quickly mushrooms and beans are always cold even when we have occasionally gone for breakfast mushrooms cold yesterday on mixed grills
Family, and I stayed at the Redwings attached to the Saracens Head through double doors. We ate all our meals in this pub. The food was very good with an extensive menu. The decor is that of a frequently used public house. One of our party used a wheelchair which required extra space at the table. Most staff were helpful, polite and cheery, in particular Mandy, who made our visits to this pub good visits. Breakfast starts at 9.00am, which suited our stay.
decided to pop in here whilst shopping, I had never been here before today, I was extremely pleased with my visit. I was welcomed by 3 girls whom greeted me with lovely big smiles and made me so very welcome throughout my visit. Thank you again!

The service, food, and prices at this restaurant are all amazing. I can't find any faults with this place. Every time I visit for food or drinks, I always receive service with a smile from the amazing team of Mandy, Ellie, and Amber.
We had a wonderful time at the restaurant! The food was delicious and we all loved the atmosphere. Candice provided excellent service, serving us our meals and drinks with a smile. It couldn't have been better!
I visited the Saracen on a busy Saturday night and had an excellent experience. Once again, Candice took exceptional care of me and my party. Thank you for a wonderful evening!
Really gone downhill mainly staff rude and the clientele dont even go there people outside loud and try and scam you terrible what an awful place no decent pubs left in shirley
