The Sawmeal Restaurant was not as we expected. The hot bar was a bit naked with empty pans, but they ran little food at the hot bar. They apologized and tried to refill the food bar as well as possible. Service was great. There was a warm feeling. Electricity was in a lot of houses company due to Hurricane Zeda such a hot meal was needed after a few days without electricity.. There are many friendly people in our small town The Sawmeal Restaurant is a great place to relax. We Alabama people are not suitable for hurricanes at all
Boy they have changed. Removed frird oysters on the menu but freshened up the restaurant and I am not a bar food eater generally but this Southern food was a comfort. My husband even purchased 2 club sandwich"s for a later and lighter supper. The food was good it was priced correctly and presentation was great. Our server and I think she may have been a part owner or manager told us they are still evolving. We will be back.
