We arrived at 8pm to find 1 staff member behind the bar with 13 customers waiting to be served. A staff member in a black and white dress turned up and spent 10 mins trying to pour drinks for table orders but couldn't reach the new bottles that were high above the bar so asked a called staff member to reach them for her. The wine and copa glasses hanging above the bar were disgustingly dirty with the staff actually putting their fingers INSIDE the glasses to get the down as they couldn't reach them .... All in all, a nice evening was spoilt by the poor service and the absolutely disgusting hygiene on the glasses!!!!
Mixed grill, unable to cut the cremated meat, an egg that was solid, looked disgusting tasted worse. Same for the brunch's. This is the second Wetherspoons we have visited in Wales and the food and service is so bad I would not have shared it with my Dog. A pint of Pepsi that had a grease film over the top. In comparison to the Iron Duke in Wellington Somerset that is Excellent.
Generally not a bad place but sort your **** chicken dishes out. A half roast chicken deliverd to me as the Siracha with gloopy lemon citrus upside down. Just in case you donkeys don't understand upside down it took me some time to realalise that there was indeed some chicken on my order.
Great pub good staff but yet again y o y do u allow kids in without adults they sit order a coke it lasts them 2 hrs when there are adults waiting for seats and will certainly depend a lot more they should be stopped from coming in by staff asap it's getting beyond now

I was having a nice meal with Denis and rosie(Besties) and I ordered the pasta Alfredo and I genuinely never wanted to die more. It was so sticky and gross I WANT A REFUND.
The toilets were not clean (possibly due to customer fault), and there was no toilet paper in several cubicles. It took two requests before the issue was finally resolved.
Spoons offers delicious and affordable food, and is always bustling with customers thanks to its extensive menu.
Good atmosphere, cheap and consistent. A group of us go here regularly good food, cheap drinks. Nice pub.

Great morning breakfast. The coffee could be better, but that 's just me being a coffee snob .
Excellent beer and delicious food at a reasonable cost.
