We discovered this place by chance. While we were waiting to be seated for lunch, we took a stroll. Just around the corner we see this cute little bake shop hustling and bustling with people. With the amount of people in and out and waiting, we said toourselves we have to give this place a try. Inside it is snug but you can see the magic happen as you have a direct view of thekitchen. There was definitely a line/wait but the employees were all quick and friendly and all the customers seemed to knowwhat they were in for so it made for an enjoyable experience. Where to even begin. Their scones are phenomenal: fluffy, perfectly balanced with a shortbread kick that is typically lost on the run of the mill American cafe scone. But scones are only a fraction of what they have. Cakes, cookies, pumpkin rolls,rugelach every single thing we purchased and we loaded up, was baked to absolute scrumptious perfection. I cannot say enoughgood things about this small cafe, where everyone is busy at work in the open kitchen, visible from the counter so no secretsthere!
I made a last minute stop right before closing and had the blueberry scone. It was absolutely delicious! So fresh with a light and soft texture, not dense or dry like other scones I've had. Big plump blueberries and the perfect amount of sweetness. I wishI had bought a few more to take home but I will definitely be back next time I'm in town!
I'm a first timer, and absolutely loved The Scone Pony! Charming little shop in a lovely part of Spring Lake, but most importantly the scones are the BEST I've ever eaten! I can't wait to come back and try some of the other baked goods. It was soworth the drive! Réservez une table maintenant
