The Seaside Boarding House Restaurant Bar

We walked from West Bay with friends to eat here but were told by the waiter that there were no tables available despite only one terrace table being occupied. As we walked away I called SBH and was told we could have a table in...a short while perhaps it was our attire that the waiter didn't approve of. We walked a little further to Hive Beach and ate in the Hive Beach Cafe where the staff were welcoming and the food was excellent.

Got in as a lot minute booking we were thrilled. We were able to sit on the terrace and the views were stunning. The service fab as was the food. Loved the non alcoholic cocktails tried different ones both equally lovely. All in all...loved it, the staff were attentive without being too I would say in your face but that is not quite the thing. Anyway we thoroughly enjoyed our first trip and will come again. Thanks

we went for Sunday midday, eating was delicious and of a very high standard and the workers were very attentive and worth knowing about the dishes and the weeping list. the location is ideal with view of the sea with a simple modern interieur that reflects its position on the sea.

We have dinned at the SBH on a few occasions and the food service has always been exceptional, if you like fish this is the place to go in Dorset. Family friendly staff and beautiful views. stars!

this restaurant is located in a wonderful location with views of the sea. very friendly and attentive staff. we had a pleasant lunch and will return.
