we had a pleasant breakfast in the smokehouse. one of the best places for fish and chips at a very affordable price (less than £10) even to eat. we had the folkestone Huss fish and chips that were pleasantly fresh with a crispy teig. the buttermilk fried chicken bun did not look so good, but she worked surprisingly well together with the Kimchi Slav and chili mayo. both were really good and we will definitely return when we are in the opposite (we live in oxford, so it is a pretty ride down.) shoutout to the waitress that served us also. she was a Jewel.

great fish, great chips and a beautiful place to sit. the gluten-free dough is excellent. the muddy heaps are very tasty with a beautiful pfefferstreu, and the tartaric acid sauce is very good. they serve a few types of beer, although less choice than before. very friendly staff always helpful, especially if they have young children. a really good place to go for quality fish and chips.

Great location, very friendly staff, and a lovely atmosphere, both during the day and at night. Our room was excellent, spotless and quite spacious with a great view over the harbour. There may be some noise from the pub if there's live music on but we were told about it on checking in. It was all quiet by 11pm so not really a problem.

beautiful decoration, friendly staff. they have a 75p fee for eating in the restaurant, everything was delicious and large portions. the service was really fast. really good location too. his 9.50 for fish and chips but was my best fish and chips until today. amazing quittung!

great food, nice location too. they have forgotten my order, and although I have waited longer than I would have, they kindly offered a sign to create it: would definitely return! gluten-free fish and chips were great, and separate GF battery seems to be boiled in the back

Delicious fish and chips (garlic fries are strong but if you like garlic you'll love them! The takeaway is connected to the restaurant so you don't have to sit in on a beautiful day. Meal deals for £8.50 Mon Fri 4 8pm see photo

We had an absolutely lovely fish and chips! The prosecco en white wine were very Nice and dry, actually really good! The staff was really lovely. The best fish and chips ever!!!!

Fantastic fish and chips PLUS if you require gluten free they provide gluten free batter all done in a separate frier. Really helpful staff
