Racist and Abelist manager Sylvester. My friends and I go to the ealing Wetherspoons quite often and have never had a bad interaction, however last night we had our first encounter with the manager of this chain. My friend South African Woman ordered her drink and then got asked to show ID, she proceeded to show her valid Citizenship card which proved her age 18, 19 this December and they did not approve it. She then explained how she has a chronic illness and cannot apply for drivers license since her CFS prevents her from applying for a provisional. I had the most shocking experience in this bar that I have ever had. I went there with my friends and one of my friends was racially discriminated against by the manager Sylvester and he was being extremely ableist, it was ironic that on the door it had a sign that not all disabilities are visible yet when my friend showed her her ID the only one she could legally have she was turned away and told us to leave or he would call the police. Absolutely shocking! We will not be returning!

I really like this pub chain. I had a traditional English breakfast with a pint of beer, the whole thing cost me 11.74 Everything was very tasty. Outside, the wonderful terrace is divided into two zones for smokers and non-smokers, respectively. I recommend coming on weekends in the morning, you can feel the special atmosphere

I give five stars for value, especially when faced with pubs which shamefully charge almost £5 a pint. The Sir Michael Balcon is a perfectly comfortable...

Good pub food. Big menu. Decent prices. Staff very helpful. Free Refill coffee cup. Inside is arty and comfortable. Outside nice but near to the busy road.

An ok pub. The food is very inexpensive so it gets a lot of crowd. It’s nothing fancy or very tasty, just normal food. I had breakfast here.

Great Place, good food, definitely download the app for ordering Makes dining fun. Shame the toilet is such a climb.
