My wife and I live in the village and absolutely love this restaurant. We cannot praise Katy and all of the staff enough. We went to the Thursday Steak Night last night and it was truly the best. The steaks were cooked perfectly to our liking and the meal even included a lovely bottle of wine at a very reasonable price. We have dined here three times in the last couple of weeks and have never been disappointed. The chefs are fantastic, please thank them for us. The staff are all so pleasant and welcoming, creating a wonderful homely atmosphere. We feel fortunate to have a place like this in our village. My group of friends and I visited Woodchurch to celebrate my husband's birthday and decided to start with lunch at the local pub. The Six Bells came highly recommended by the owner of our holiday cottage. The staff, including the landlady and waitress, were very friendly and welcoming. The menu had a good variety of food and drinks, and everyone in our group enjoyed their meals. We returned to the pub for their quiz night, and the waitress remembered that our friend had a gluten intolerance and recommended suitable options for him. The quiz night was a blast and had a great turnout. To top it off, we actually ended up winning first prize!

Lovely village pub with recent extension and relaid garden, the whole place had a friendly and welcoming feel. Publican went out of his way to be helpful and the meal was delicious. I had the fish pie and hubby had liver and bacon. First class in every respect

We enjoyed our experience at this charming village pub. The Sunday roast was delicious and affordable. The service from the two young ladies in the conservatory was excellent and polite. We look forward to returning in the future.

the facilities where the cleanest i have seen before and i was very happy to use them and i would recommend this place to any one.
